5. Goldman Sachs Says: “No AI Bubble”
Given Nvidia’s incredible performance this year, and more generally the fact that AI has seemed a more powerful force in the stock market than interest rate hikes and bank crises, one could be forgiven for thinking were in a bubble. Not so, says Goldman Sachs, who argues AI is still just beginning.
4. A New AI Model Can Detect Eye Disease
UK scientists have just published a paper in Nature about a new LLM trained specifically to understand the retina. In addition to uses detecting eye disease, the AI can also use retina scans to detect signs of other conditions including hypertension and Parkinson’s.

2. Stability Releases Stable Audio
We are suckers over here at The AI Breakdown for audio generation models, and excited to see this field advance with Stability’s release of Stable Audio. The demo was so popular it crashed the site, but we hear the model is pretty good.
Lasts weeks I had the privilege to experiment with @stableaudio from @StabilityAI and @harmonai_org.
In this post I share some ideas and tips I found handy! 🎶🎼🎚️🎺

1. $550 Trillion in Net Worth Talk AI in D.C.
A fairly unbelievable number of tech luminaries descended on D.C. yesterday for a closed-door summit about the future of AI and AI regulation. Reports suggest there was some tension and disagreement, but that overall there was broad agreement of the need for government involvement.
"I think this meeting may go down in history as being very important for the future of civilization," Elon Musk said on the AI summit in Washington DC trib.al/ed5Adon
