5. Asana AI Teammates
Workpalce coordination tool Asana has just unveiled a new AI teammate feature. They claim that it uses past information about how people have worked together to actually manage and coordinate projects.
Asana says its new AI teammates are ready to manage your projects
The work management platform’s latest AI dives into the nitty-gritty of getting stuff done—sometimes with ‘superhuman’ results, says CEO Dustin Moskovitz.

4. Humane Warns Users to Stop Charging Devices
The hits keep coming. Humane’s AI Pin has had a fairly underwhelming rollout, and now the company has advised buyers to cease using the devices charging case immediately based on there being a fire risk. Oof.
Here's the email @Humane sent me about the Charging Case:
Weird that they would send it to my work email... not the email that is associated with my Ai Pin account and service

3. Yellen Warns on AI Risks to Financial System
Treasury Secretary is slated to give her most comprehensive comments on artificial intelligence to date. Sounds like the old canard of “lots of potential, but also risk” with her risk focus being opacity and an inability to create regulatory guardrails for the financial system.
NEW: In her most detailed remarks yet on AI, Treasury Secretary Yellen plans to warn bankers & tech execs tomorrow there are "tremendous opportunities and significant risks" linked to the use of AI in finance, according to excerpts shared first with @CNN

2. Nvidia is Now Bigger than Apple
Hello $3 trillion. Nvidia continues its meteoric ascent, surpassing a three trillion dollar market valuation and moving past Apple to become the second biggest company in the US after only Microsoft.
The idea that NVIDIA is now more valuable than AAPL means something is dramatically mispriced. Either Apple's 400B in revenue and 125B in EBITDA is way too cheap, or NVIDIA's 60B in revenue and 30 in EBITDA is too expensive...

1. Anti-Trust Probes Aimed at Microsoft, Nvidia
Many view AI as concentrating the power of Big Tech, and now the government is looking into it. The Justice Department and FTC have divided authority to look into the practices of Microsoft, Nvidia and OpenAI on competitiveness grounds.
EU antitrust regulators on hearing Nvidia is now bigger than Apple and they don't have any active antitrust investigations or pending fines to hit them with.

BONUS: This is Dubious.
It has to be illegal to say that IBM has a better foundation model offering than OpenAI right? @FTC hello?
