5. New Study Confirms Workers are Worried About AI

4. Arm Becomes Latest Chip Stock to Pop

In the wake of UK chip designer Arm increasing its revenue outlook for the year, shares of the company’s stock rocketed up nearly 30%. It’s the latest AI chip related stock to pop, and shows that AI enthusiasm on Wall Street remains as strong as ever.

3. Apple Releases Open Source Image Generation Tool

Apple has released a new AI image tool called MLLM-Guided Image Editing or MGIE. Focused on photo editing, the model allows a user to describe a change in plain text and make the change without touching dedicated photo editing software. It’s the latest in a growing number of Apple open source AI releases.

2. SCOOP: As Google Catches GPT-4, OpenAI Turns to Agents

In a week where the big story is someone finally releasing a GPT-4 level model, The Information reports that behind the scenes, OpenAI is pursuing a totally different type of focus: AI agents.

1. Bard is Officially Gemini, and Ultra is Here!

The recent leak was true! Bard has been renamed Gemini, and just like Microsoft has consolidated all AI under the “Copilot” brand, Google is doing the same with the Gemini name. They’re releasing a Gemini App for Android and making Gemini’s Ultra model (the GPT-4 level model) available to the public with a subscription.
