1. ChatGPT Code Interpreter Coming Next Week
5. Microsoft to $3 Trillion!?
On the one hand, market analysts are spotting signs of a bubble around AI. On the other hand, Goldman Sachs just released a report saying that with AI, the hype is real, and Morgan Stanley says AI will drive Microsoft to a $3 trillion valuation.
21/ Is an AI bubble forming?
Likely so, and it is just getting started!

4. AI Content is Not Going Well
Some have argued that LLMs primary use case so far is content farming, and they might not be as wrong as we’d like. Just after Gizmodo’s parent company announced it was going all in on AI content, other publications are calling out ridiculously error-ridden AI-created posts. Meanwhile, AI has totally swamped Kindle Unlimited, leaving some human authors peeved.
The AI bots have broken Amazon.
Take a look at the Best Sellers in Teen & Young Adult Contemporary Romance eBooks top 100 chart.
I can see 19 actual legit books.

@Ama@AmazonKDPt are you doing about it? http— Caitlyn Lynch aka Catherine Bilson (@caitlynlynch6)

3. Alibaba’s Midjourney Competitor
The Chinese AI race continues to accelerate. This week, Alibaba showed off a new text-to-image generator. The service will initially be offered only to enterprise customers. Huawei also demonstrated the third generation of its proprietary AI model. Meanwhile a new Stable Diffusion model is also available.

2. GPT-4 API Opens Widely for Devs
Another week, another slew of announcements from OpenAI to dominate headlines. As of yesterday, all paying API customers now have access to GPT-4. It’s available with 8K context and fine tuning is slated to come later this year. OpenAI also announced that GPT-3.5 Turbo, DALL-E, and Whisper APIs were now generally available.
More amazing news: GPT-4 is now generally available via our API (with fine tuning support coming later this year) 🚀
Here are the details on todays developer launch (including important info about model deprecations)🧵

1. It’s Here! ChatGPT Code Interpreter Coming Next Week
Ever since a handful of people got access to the Code Interpreter earlier this year, the broader ChatGPT community has been thirsting to get their hands on it. Well, starting next week, all paying ChatGPT Plus customers will have access to the plugin, which many see as the most powerful ChatGPT release since GPT-4 itself.
Everyone who subscribes to ChatGPT Plus is apparently going to get Code Interpreter in the next week. It is the mode of AI that I find both most promising, interesting, and unnerving.
I wrote a bit about my experiments a couple weeks ago:
