With the school year on the horizon, Khan Academy and Code.org are teaming up to offer educators a free course to help them better understand artificial intelligence. Seems super valuable, given that teachers are going to have to deal with ChatGPT and the like whether they like it or not.

4. Norway Wealth Fund Makes $143B On AI
Norway’s wealth fund, which invests revenue from oil and gas production, is the world’s single largest stock investor. Last quarter, the company returned $143B, driven largely by the strong performance of AI stocks.

3. AMD Survey Finds IT Leaders Optimistic on AI
AMD just released a survey of over 2500 IT leaders, and found that on the whole they are optimistic about AI. 67% thought that AI could increase employee efficiency. 70% think it can help with the detection of cybersecurity threats. Interestingly, however, 50% also said their organizations weren’t ready to begin experimenting.
2. AI Reconstructs A Pink Floyd Song From Brainwaves
From the SciFi files, researchers have successfully reconstructed a clip of Pink Floyd’s classic “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 1” by analyzing brain activity that occurred while listening to the original. Check out the article for comparison clips.
Neuroscientists reconstructed a @pinkfloyd song by listening to brainwaves and using #AI software. This is the first time a song has been reconstructed from intracranial electroencephalography recordings. 🧠
