The Most Interesting..Well Thing?

There are robots everywhere this week. I’m not exactly sure what to say about it, other than…they’re everywhere. Amazon, Tesla, Sanctuary AI…and some Doc Ock thing.

Now perhaps rather than some insightful analysis here, I’ll point you to a recent talk by Yuval Noah Harari about “AI and the future of humanity.” In it, he makes the point that our science fiction conception of the AI threat involves AI claiming a physical form in robots. However, he believes language and the intimacy it can bring is enough to do the damage. Worth your consideration:
