For some time, it’s been clear that the future of prompting isn’t just manual prompt engineering, but getting AI’s help with prompts. Anthropic has released a new tool for exactly that.

3. The US and China Meet to Discuss AI Risks

The US and China continue their series of talks on the risks of artificial intelligence this week in Geneva. What exactly they’ll be talking about isn’t exactly clear, as US officials stressed that nothing about US policy was up for negotiation.

2. OpenAI Nears Deal with Apple

According to Bloomberg, Apple and OpenAI are nearing a deal to put ChatGPT on the iPhone. Apple is also holding talks with Google, although those talks seem to be farther behind. According to Twitter, the deal is done (although the sourcing is somewhat more dubious).

OpenAI has been big hyping their product announcement event today. The best reporting we have suggests it is going to be a visual and voice assistant (a la a superpowered Siri) although all manner of theories are floating around out there.
