5. KPMG Survey Shows CEOs Think AI Is Top Investment Priority

KPMG has released the results of a recent survey of US CEO’s and boy, the results couldn’t be clearer. 72% say that generative AI is a “top investment priority.” They’re also thinking about it as a medium-term investment, with 23% saying they expect a return in 1 to 3 years and 62% saying they expect a return in 3 to 5 years.

4. Ideogram In Talks to Raise at $500M Valuation

Another day another (potential) monster investment round. The Information is reporting that Andreessen Horowitz is in discussions with Midjourney competitor Ideogram around a 9-figure round which would value the company at a half-billion dollars.

Reuters report that Sam Altman and co are considering making their own AI chips, and have even considered companies for acquisition as part of the plan. While no decision has been made yet, it certainly adds some spice to the GPU space.
