5. Image Generation Coming to Grok?

Elon Musk’s Grok continues to increase it’s capabilities. Earlier in the year, Musk teased a partnership with Midjourney. Well now, some code watching sleuths have noticed some clues that indicate image generation may be on the way.

4. Dubai Appoints 22 AI Officers

Global competition to staff up governments around AI is on, and Dubai is trying to set the pace. They’ve just appointed 22 different AI officials across government entities as one part of a much larger AI push.

3. Justin Trudeau is e/acc?

In a recent podcast interview, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau was asked about artificial intelligence. He rejected doomsday scenarios and basically said we just needed to keep building so that any bad AI could be counteracted by good.

2. Apple AI WWDC Preview

Word on the street is that Apple is going to premier something called “Apple Intelligence” today. Some people have tempered expectations while others are getting excited. Whatever happens, the stakes are high, and at least we’re not going to have to speculate any longer.
