5. AI Can Find Location from Photos
Hello privacy concerns! A new project called Predicting Image Geolocations (PIGEON) from a team of Stanford grad students showed that when AI was presented with personal photos it had never seen, it was able to accurately guess the locations a majority of the time.
Stanford graduate students created an artificial intelligence model that can determine your location from your unpublished photos, worrying privacy experts who fear the technology could be used for government surveillance, corporate tracking or stalking.

4. Bringing AI to Cars
Cars are one of the areas where “real world AI” makes it to, well, the real world. Just ask Elon Musk! TomTom and Microsoft are teaming up to announce a “fully integrated, AI powered conversational automotive assistant.” Because Elon can’t have all the fun.
While your stock infotainment system might be neat, Microsoft's new partnership with TomTom integrates AI into the setup redefining it completely with cool features.

3. The More Workers Use AI, the More Nervous They Get
A new CNBC study deeply resonates. The study was focused on AI in the workplace. It found that 72% of employees who used AI at work found it made them more productive. What’s more interesting, while 35% of workers who didn’t use AI are worried about its impact on their job, 60% of those who use AI regularly are.
Train your robot, then get a better job. Nothing new.

2. OpenAI’s New Safety Plan
In the wake of the board-Sam Altman kerfluffle, OpenAI is working to update its approach to governance. It just released its updated preparedness plan, which includes creating a new safety advisory group and empowering the board to reverse safety-related decisions made by the company’s executives.
We are systemizing our safety thinking with our Preparedness Framework, a living document (currently in beta) which details the technical and operational investments we are adopting to guide the safety of our frontier model development.

1. Accenture Says Companies Not Ready for AI
Accenture is no stranger to AI, as it spends billions to retrofit its operations to help clients with the new frontier. That said, the company’s CEO Julie Sweet told the FT that she thinks most companies aren’t ready, due to a combination of incomplete data approaches and security risks.

Bonus: Video-to-Video
Less than 144 hours since, DomoAI dropped video-to-video.
Anyone can turn video into different styles. The most creative and fun ones I've seen are usually anime or 8-bit game styles.
